JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel’s Overseas Ministry says the nation has donated $500,000 to the United Nations for meals, medical help and different help for Afghans who fled to neighboring Tajikistan. The ministry’s director normal says Israel is proud to be a part of the worldwide effort to assist Afghan refugees from the Taliban takeover in August. The donation comes because the U.N. made what it referred to as a file $5 billion enchantment to assist Afghanistan and its neighboring nations. The enchantment features a name for $623 million for the U.N.’s refugee company to assist greater than 6 million Afghans who’ve fled to different nations. That’s about 15 % of Afghanistan’s whole inhabitants.
