Drones to deliver packages in Muscat Governorate | Times of Oman

Muscat: A venture, to allow drone-based supply of parcels in Muscat, has been launched in cooperation between the Governorate of Muscat and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Data Know-how.

Muscat Municipality stated in a press release: “We hope the signing of the memorandum of understanding will improve the utilisation of the drone system within the Sultanate of Oman, localise trendy applied sciences for supply companies, and enrich the logistics sector by including new companies that contribute to the combination of provide and provide chains within the Governorate of Muscat.”
