Dharma Samaj (DS) Faculty on Thursday (February 17) issued a discover banning entry of scholars with out the prescribed uniform.
“That is to tell all the scholars of the school that they need to come within the prescribed gown of the school. If they aren’t within the prescribed gown, the school administration might be compelled to deprive them of getting into the school. The directives come two days after a gaggle of scholars sporting saffron scarves held a protest within the campus, demanding ban of ‘hijab’ within the faculty premises.
Dr Raj Kumar Verma, Principal of the school, mentioned that the administration won’t permit college students to enter the campus with coated faces.
“We won’t permit college students to enter the campus with coated faces. College students usually are not allowed to put on a saffron stole or hijab inside faculty premises,” he added.
The Hijab controversy started in Karnataka within the month of January when some college students of Authorities Women PU Faculty within the Udupi district of the state alleged that they’d been barred from attending courses. In the course of the protests, some college students claimed they have been denied entry into the school for sporting hijab.
