BEIRUT, Feb 25 (Reuters) – Russia’s embassy in Lebanon was stunned by the Lebanese overseas ministry assertion that condemned the Russian army operations in Ukraine, it stated in a press release on its Fb web page.
“The assertion… stunned us by violating the coverage of dissociation and by taking one aspect towards one other in these occasions, noting that Russia spared no effort in contributing to the development and stability of the Lebanese Republic,” the assertion stated.

The overseas ministry assertion led to inner criticism from some cupboard ministers, members of parliament and political events together with the highly effective Iran-backed group Hezbollah.
“What overseas coverage is Lebanon following and the place is Lebanon’s curiosity in that? Please make clear for us overseas minister,” Hezbollah lawmaker Ibrahim Al Moussawi wrote on Twitter.
