In a letter to the editor revealed within the Jan. 7 version of The Instances, Larry Luckett a retired Forest Service Ranger on the Chattahoochee-Oconee Nationwide Forest, criticized (amongst different issues) “preservationists” for halting timber administration on the CONF, being untruthful and never understanding the intent of the Weeks Act of 1911, which created Nationwide Forests within the japanese U.S.
