The Ministry of Land Administration, City Planning and Development despatched a request to the capital and provincial to spice up inspections and stop the unlicensed demolition or building of buildings.
On March 3, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Administration, City Planning and Development, Chea Sophara, despatched the request to all provincial and capital governors. That is in keeping with a letter obtained by native information.
Within the letter, DPM Sophara confirmed that the Ministry won’t enable any building or dismantling to happen at a location with out the architectural and building plans authorized by the authorities. Development or demolition with authorities approval is unlawful and should have an effect on the laws on high quality, safety, security and public order.
The Ministry said, “The Ministry requests governors to watch and take motion to forestall the development or demolition of buildings with no allow and to impose sanctions on those that violate the development laws.”
The measures taken by the Ministry of Land Administration are in accordance with the Cambodian Development Regulation, together with the Royal Authorities Sub-Decree on Development Permits.
