NUR-SULTAN – Kazakhstan dispatched 1,000 tons of wheat seeds to Kyrgyzstan as a part of the humanitarian help program, reported the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Overseas Affairs on March 10.
Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan Askarbek Dzhanybekov expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for offering seeds designed to enhance the standard and productiveness of the farmers’ merchandise.
“Top quality seeds of wheat from Kazakhstan will enhance the standard of native seeds. The seeds of the Karabalykskaya 20 selection are acknowledged because the first-class seeds with humidity of not more than 14 p.c, germination of at least 95 p.c, varietal purity of at least 99.7 p.c. Seeds are weed-free,” Dzhanybekov stated throughout the ceremony of handing over the humanitarian cargo on the Bishkek-1 railway station.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Rapil Zhoshybaev famous that this help was initiated by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev after his talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
Earlier, Kazakhstan supplied 5,000 tons of flour in Could 2020 and 10,000 tons of flour in Could 2021 to Kyrgyzstan.
“Kazakhs and Kyrgyz are fraternal peoples. I imagine that the cooperation between the 2 peoples will proceed to develop stronger,” stated the Kazakh ambassador.
