ANKARA (Reuters) – Turkey is shifting its embassy in Kyiv to the town of Chernivtsi amid experiences of a deliberate Russian assault on the Ukrainian capital, International Ministry Spokesman Tanju Bilgic was quoted as saying by state media on Friday.
NATO member Turkey, which has a maritime border with Russia and Ukraine within the Black Sea and has good ties with each, was among the many final international locations nonetheless working its diplomatic missions in Ukraine.
Ankara has been working to evacuate its residents stranded by the preventing throughout Ukraine.
