Kampong Chhnang’s Provincial Administration continued to implement tasks to restore the paved roads within the province to facilitate journey for the residents within the province.
The bottom-breaking ceremony for the rehabilitation undertaking was held on the morning of March 14 and was presided over by Chairman of the Provincial Council, Lengthy Chhun Lay, Member of Parliament for Kampong Chhnang constituency, Ke Chanmony. The ceremony was additionally attended by different civil servants.
The provincial administration funded the rehabilitation of a three-kilometre DBST street that runs by Damnak Popul Village, Sre Village. Pring Village and Trapeang Chiksa Village in Kampong Chhnang commune.
The authorities of Kampong Chhnang stated that the province has 65 roads, with a complete size of 67,735 metres. The Governor of Kampong Chhnang, Solar Sovannarith, stated that on account of heavy rains 27,203 metres of street have been broken.
The Governor confirmed after the preliminary rehabilitation of the street, different roads may also be repaired, particularly the street linked to Nationwide Street 5.
