Saudi Arabia’s ministry of funding not too long ago signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Amazon to develop the dominion’s e-commerce sector. The deal is a part of the federal government’s efforts to construct home capabilities and appeal to sustainable funding practices to Saudi Arabia, the ministry mentioned on Twitter.
The deal was signed within the presence of Saudi funding minister Khaled Al-Falih and Amazon vp for Center East and North Africa Ronaldo Mouchawar.
Amazon penetrated Saudi Arabia after buying Dubai-based market Souq.com. In 2020, it rolled out a web site, which is a re-branding for Souq.com clients in Saudi Arabia.
