Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf stalwart Shehryar Afridi also posted a message online in support of the PM, saying “he will never give up.”

Another ruling party senator Faisal Javed Khan expressed confidence that PM Is “winning the game.”

Meanwhile, there were unconfirmed reports of the presence of 190 lawmakers at the Punjab House, providing ground to the opposotion’s claims that they had the required majority to oust the ruling party from power.
