Sri Lanka is ready to tour Bangladesh for a two-match Check sequence, to be performed in Could 2022. The Check sequence is ready to be a part of the 2021-23 ICC Check Championship cycle.
The Sri Lankan crew will arrive in Bangladesh on Could 8 and play a two-day warm-up match on the MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram on Could 11 and 12, forward of the two-match Check sequence, which is ready to start on Could 15 on the Zahur Ahmed Choudhary Cricket Stadium in Chattogram.
The second Check might be performed on the Sher-e-Bangla Nationwide Cricket Stadium in Dhaka from Could 23.
The sequence initially was scheduled to be performed throughout October – November 2020 however was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Sri Lanka did go to Bangladesh in Could 2021 however solely performed a three-match One-Day Worldwide sequence.
