The Tutong District Workplace, in cooperation with RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang Mosque Takmir Committee, held a Tedarus Al-Quran ceremony for mukim and village consultative councils in addition to the Ministry of Residence Affairs (MoHA) workforce for Tutong District on the mosque yesterday, along side the holy month of Ramadhan.
Minister of Residence Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong led the MoHA delegation.
Legislative Council (LegCo) members, appearing Tutong District officer, and everlasting secretaries, deputy everlasting secretary, appearing deputy everlasting secretary and heads of departments on the ministry additionally attended.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Selamat, led by Mosque Affairs Officer of RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang Mosque Imam Muhd Aisamuddin bin Haji Selaman.
The occasion noticed the presentation of an air blower and water jet as endowment from the minister to Imam Muhd Aisamuddin, and donations to 30 orphans from the RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang. The ceremony was one of many ministry’s programmes to strengthen ties between the ministry and grassroots leaders in addition to residents of mukims and villages in Tutong District.
It was additionally an annual spiritual exercise to hunt blessings and rewards throughout Ramadhan.
The MoHA delegation will proceed the ceremony in different districts.
