In line with the Hearth and Rescue Division (FRD), 4 firefighters from Jerudong hearth station, led by ABK 661 Mohd Sukry Ahmad, responded to the wild animal disturbance report lodged at 10.45am.
On arrival, firefighters discovered the crocodile within the drainage of the caller’s house.
Firefighters caught the reptile with a snare catcher and twine, earlier than handing it over to the Wildlife Division.
No accidents have been reported.
The FRD mentioned unclean premises with rodent infestation are extra liable to attracting wild animals akin to crocodiles, snakes and monitor lizards.
Deserted and unkempt lawns could develop into the animals’ nesting and breeding areas, mentioned the FRD.
The general public is urged to report back to the FRD in the event that they encounter wild animals roaming round residential or business areas.
The general public is suggested to not try to strategy or threaten wild animals, observe cleanliness, and maintain home windows and doorways closed when not at house.
