“Preah Thong Neang Neak” statue, which symbolises the delivery of Khmer land, tradition, traditions and civilisation, was formally inaugurated this morning.
The inauguration ceremony was held below the presidency of Prime Minister Hun Sen and his partner Bun Rany Hun Sen.
“Preah Thong Neang Neak” statue of 21 metres tall on a pedestal 6.34 metres excessive is the biggest copper statue in Cambodia.
Positioned on the Preah Thong Neang Neak roundabout in Koki Village, Bit Trang Commune, Prey Nup District, Preah Sihanouk, the large statue weighs in whole 60 tonnes and faces Ream Seashore.
“Preah Thong Neang Neak” statue is among the many 4 icons of Preah Sihanouk provinces. The opposite three are Golden Lions on the metropolis centre, Preah Uma-Mahesor statue on the Preah Uma-Mahesor roundabout in Thmar Thom village, Ream commune, Prey Nup district; and three-faced Siha Attain statue in Sihanoukville’s commune 1.
The statues have been turning into the province’s vacationer sights and a main spot for taking footage for native folks and nationwide and worldwide guests. AKP-C.Nika
