After Tesla CEO Elon Musk mentioned that he has secured $46.5 billion in financing to purchase Twitter Inc. and is planning to start out a young supply for its shares, now the technologist has tweeted that if our Twitter bid succeeds, he’ll defeat the spam bots.
“If our twitter bid succeeds, we’ll defeat the spam bots or die making an attempt!” tweeted Elon Musk. “And authenticate all actual people,” he mentioned in one other tweet.
Final week, the Tesla CEO proposed a proposal to purchase the microblogging web site for $54.20 per share in money. The board of administrators has issued a brand new “shareholder rights plan” to dam Musk’s supply, which comes as a significant setback to the billionaire’s efforts to take full management of Twitter.

The Tesla CEO mentioned on Thursday in paperwork filed with US securities regulators that he is exploring what’s often known as a young supply to purchase the entire social media platform’s widespread inventory for $54.20 per share in money. Below a young supply, Musk, who owns about 9% of Twitter shares, would take his supply on to different shareholders, bypassing the board.
However Musk hasn’t determined but whether or not to try this.
The paperwork mentioned Twitter has not responded to Musk’s proposal.
