Mumbai, Apr 22: Maharashtra BJP chief Mohit Kamboj claimed his automotive was attacked by a mob late Friday evening in Kalanagar space of Mumbai’s Bandra suburb.
Kalanagar is the place Matoshree, the personal residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, is situated and which at current is witnessing a gathering of tons of of Shiv Sainiks to thwart a plan by Impartial Lok Sabha MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana to recite the Hanuman Chalisa on Saturday morning.
“I had gone to attend a marriage and whereas returning house, my automobile stopped at a street sign in Kalanagar space. Abruptly, a mob of few tons of attacked my automobile and broke its glasses and broken the door handles,” Kamboj stated in a video statements.
“I used to be requested to maneuver my automobile by native police and nobody within the automotive was injured. I’m not going to be afraid of this type of aggression as a result of my social gathering and I are exposing corruption within the BMC (which is dominated by the Sena),” Kamboj, who has not named any social gathering or chief, added.
Kamboj stated police should probe the assault and arrest the culprits, including that he wouldn’t again off from exposing corruption regardless of such acts.
Condemning the incident and calling the attackers cowards, former chief minister and senior BJP chief Devendra Fadnavis stated underneath a “new tradition” in Maharashtra, these speaking about corruption are being crushed and attacked.
“Will Mumbai police take motion or create a narrative to avoid wasting these cowards? CCTV cameras are arrange all over the place within the metropolis, thus the reality will come out,” Fadnavis added.
