The Embilipitiya Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nuwan Mendis has been admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital following a fall from the Galle Fort yesterday (24).
He was strolling alongside the Galle Fort close to the Rampart Resort together with his spouse when he had met with this accident.
He was taken to hospital in a Suwaseriya ambulance.
It’s reported that the SSP has suffered a fracture to his left leg.
