KABUL, April 27 (Xinhua) — Some 7,600 herding households obtained animals feed in two of Afghanistan’s southern provinces, the Meals and Agriculture Group of the United Nations (FAO) confirmed on Wednesday.
Within the Marjah district of Helmand province, 5,600 individuals had been supported by the FAO with animal feed packages, and every herding household obtained 200 kg of concentrated animal feed, the group tweeted.
Based on the FAO, 2,000 households obtained concentrated animal feedstuff within the neighboring Uruzgan province.
