In accordance with the Ministry of Training, 1,113 state-run major college and kindergarten in 10 provinces have been offering college students with nutrient meal each college day.
Most of these college (80 %) give their scholar free breakfast whereas the remainder present college lunch.
Hun Sovannara, Deputy Director of Diet and Scholarship Workplace of Main Division, stated that the meals have been supplied in an effort to enhance scholar’s vitamin consciousness and promote crop yield in native communities.
“The 1,113 colleges are situated in Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Siem Reap, Preah Vihear, Oddar Imply Chey, Steung Treng , Kampong Thom, and Kampong Cham,” he stated
