Kuwaiti man to get more than BD5,000 as compensation for delay in baggage arrival

A industrial airline in Kuwait has been ordered to pay a citizen KD4,400 (BD5,395) as compensation for a five-day delay within the arrival of his baggage at his vacation spot.

The ruling was carried out by the Court docket of Cassation’s Industrial and Partial Civil Part after the citizen’s lawyer gave details about the case on his consumer’s behalf, Al-Seyassah newspaper reported. 

The lawyer mentioned that the difficulty occurred as his consumer was in transit at Dubai Worldwide Airport on a flight from Kuwait Worldwide Airport to a different nation and that the delay brought on him numerous difficulties.
