Top US Official on East Asian Affairs to Visit Laos and Cambodia

The US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel J Kritenbrink will go to Cambodia and Laos from 1 – 7 Could.

A press release from the US Embassy in Cambodia on Saturday mentioned the go to will spotlight US dedication to 2 of the youngest and most dynamic societies within the area, reinforcing ASEAN centrality, underscoring the USA’ dedication to the Mekong-US Partnership to handle transboundary challenges and selling a safe, open and affluent Mekong sub-region.

In Laos, Kritenbrink will meet with International Minister Saleumxay Kommasith, Deputy International Minister Thongphane Savanphet, and officers from the Mekong River Fee.  The Assistant Secretary can even interact with the alumni of the Division of State change applications.
