The specialised police power of the Division of Anti-Drug Crimes cooperated with the related forces to research and crack down on 4 drug trafficking gangs in Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kampong Speu and Takeo.
The operation was carried out in accordance to the order of Gen. Neth Savoeun, Nationwide Police Commissioner Basic, and directed underneath the command of Gen. Mak Chito, Deputy Commissioner Basic of the Nationwide Police, and Lt. Gen. Lek Vannak, Director of the AntiDrug Division.
The officers performed the crackdowns on April 27. The places of the crackdown are: alongside the highway close to 7 Makara Bridge, Sangkat Kraing Pong, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh, Tuol Sotin Village, Ang Po Pe Commune, Kong Pisey District, Kampong Speu, Deum Roka Market alongside Nationwide Street 3, Chung Ruk Commune, Kong Pisey District, Kampong Speu and alongside Nationwide Street 3, Ang Ta Som Commune, Tram Kak District, Takeo.
Throughout the operations, the authorities arrested six folks. Additionally they seized 151 grams of meth, two firearms and two automobiles.
