Federal Minister for Finance and Income Miftah Ismail Tuesday introduced that no extension has been granted to Reza Baqir as State Financial institution of Pakistan’s (SBP) governor as his three-year tenure expires in the present day (Wednesday).
Taking to his official Twitter deal with on Tuesday, Ismail revealed that SBP Governor Dr Reza Baqir’s three-year will expire Might 4.
“I’ve spoken to him and instructed him of the federal government’s resolution,” he wrote, acknowledging his efforts throughout these three years.
“I wish to thank Reza for his service to Pakistan. He’s an exceptionally certified man [and] we labored properly throughout our transient time collectively. I want him the perfect,” the finance minister wrote.
