UNITED NATIONS (AP) — With simply two weeks left in Yemen’s two-month cease-fire, the U.N. envoy to the war-torn nation says talks with the federal government and Houthi rebels are occurring proper now and he hopes the truce can be prolonged. However Hans Grundberg was cautious of constructing any prediction, saying that settlement on an extension will rely on the talks that he and his workplace are having with the combatants. He advised reporters after a closed briefing to the U.N. Safety Council on Tuesday that “the truce is holding in navy phrases” and Yemenis have seen advantages of their day by day lives.
