ISLAMABAD: The Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday revised the Nationwide Meeting seats, lowering them from 342 to 336, confirmed the preliminary delimitation of constituencies.
The variety of common seats within the NA will lower from 272 to 266, per the ECP report.
Balochistan can have 16 common seats within the NA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can have 45, Punjab 141, Sindh 61, and Islamabad can have three seats. Seats of erstwhile federally administered tribal areas have been merged with KP.
Then again, girls can have 60 reserved seats whereas minorities can have 10 seats.
A Nationwide Meeting constituency in KP has been demarcated at 788,933 individuals, Islamabad 667,789, Punjab 780,069, Sindh 784,500, and Balochistan 77,946.
KP’s NA will start with Chitral from NA-1 to NA-45.
Seats from Islamabad can be from NA-46 to NA-48, Punjab’s constituencies will begin from Attock’s NA-49 and finish at NA-189 in Rajanpur.
Moreover, Sindh’s decrease home seats will begin from NA-190 Jacobabad and proceed until NA-250 Karachi. Whereas Balochistan’s constituencies can be from NA-251 to NA-266.
Provincial meeting seats
The Balochistan Meeting can have 65 seats total out of which 51 can be common seats, KP Meeting can have 145 seats out of which 115 can be common seats.
Punjab can have 371 seats out of which 297 can be common seats whereas the Sindh Meeting can have 168 seats out of which 130 can be common seats.
The ECP stated {that a} constituency of KP Meeting will include 308,713 voters, Punjab Meeting 370,336, Sindh Meeting 368,112 and Balochistan Meeting 241,864.
