NEW DELHI/HYDERABAD: Denying that the Centre has accorded “step-motherly” remedy to Telangana, Union Residence Minister Amit Shah on Thursday stated that the Narendra Modi-led BJP authorities has “religiously pursued insurance policies to strengthen Centre-State relations”.
Presiding over the Telangana Formation Day celebrations, organised for the primary time by the Ministry of Tradition in Delhi, the Residence Minister refuted allegations that the State has been ignored.“The Modi authorities believes that the nation’s improvement can happen solely when the States are developed,” Shah stated.
Claiming that the Central authorities “doesn’t distinguish between States dominated by the BJP and different events”, the Residence Minister stated that the Centre has disbursed Rs 2.52 lakh crore for various improvement schemes for Telangana between 2014 and 2022.
