ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Haycarb Plc, an activated carbon market stated, internet revenue grew 169 p.c to 1.7 billion rupees within the March 2022 quarter from a 12 months in the past resulting from greater finance revenue with rupee depreciating within the first quarter of the 12 months.
The group reported earnings per share of 5.80 rupees within the first quarter of 2022. The share traded 19 p.c down at 53 rupees on Monday.
Gross earnings grew 9 p.c to 1.9 billion rupees, as income rose by 48 p.c to 9.8 billion rupees within the quarter and the price of the gross sales went up by 63 p.c to 7.9 billion rupees.
Different Working revenue elevated by a quick 1,970 p.c to 163 million rupees whereas promoting and distribution prices decreased by 34 p.c from a 12 months earlier to 65 million rupees.
Administration bills elevated by 82 p.c to 1.4 billion rupees.
Web finance Revenue grew 977 p.c to 1.7 billion rupees as Finance revenue rose 1,734 p.c to 1.9 billion rupees whereas finance prices falling 605 p.c to 258 million rupees from a 12 months earlier.
