KATHMANDU, June 26: The Cricket Affiliation of Nepal (CAN) has introduced a 14-member nationwide cricket squad underneath the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane for a bilateral collection with Canada and ICC Cricket World Cup League Two in Scotland.
The Nepali group consists of captain Lamichhane and vice-captain Rohit Poudel together with Kushal Bhurtel, Arif Sheikh, Dev Khanal, Dipendra Singh Airee, Arif Sheikh, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Adil Ansari, Wasir Ahmed, Kishor Mahato, Pawan Sarraf and Binod Bhandari.
Equally, CAN has said that the T20 matches can be performed on June 28 and 29 and ODIs can be performed on July 4 and 5. The Nepali group left for Canada in the present day.
The Nepali group will go to Scotland after taking part in the bilateral collection in Canada. In Scotland, Nepal will play two league matches towards the house group and two towards Namibia. Nepal’s first match of the league is scheduled towards Namibia on July 11.
