(CNN) — Two ladies had been arrested at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and accused of smuggling after 109 stay animals had been discovered of their baggage, Thai officers say.
Wildlife officers referred to as to the scene found two white porcupines, two armadillos, 35 turtles, 50 lizards and 20 snakes within the two items of baggage.
Thai officers reportedly found 109 animals within the ladies’s baggage, together with 50 lizards.

Thai authorities stated the suitcases belonged to 2 Indian ladies: Nithya Raja, 38, and Zakia Sulthana Ebrahim, 24, who had been as a result of board a flight to the Indian metropolis of Chennai.
The ladies have reportedly been charged with violating the Wildlife Conservation and Safety Act of 2019, the Animal Illness Act of 2015 and the Customs Act of 2017.
“Chennai Worldwide Airport, Tamil Nadu, recorded the very best variety of wildlife seizure incidents, adopted by Chhatrapati Shivaji Worldwide Airport, Mumbai and Indira Gandhi Airport New Delhi,” the report stated.
