Russia says it will deepen defence cooperation with Myanmar

MOSCOW, July 12 (Reuters) – Russia and Myanmar are to deepen their defence cooperation after a gathering in Moscow between Myanmar’s navy chief, Min Aung Hlaing, and prime Russian defence officers, Russia’s Defence Ministry stated on Tuesday.

The ministry stated in a press release that the assembly had taken place on Monday, and that Hlaing was in Russia on a personal go to.
