In a transfer Jewish organizations are condemning as antisemitic, the Presbyterian Church USA voted to declare that the actions of the Israeli authorities towards the folks of Palestine meets the authorized definition of apartheid.
Commissioners of 225th Common Meeting of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) voted 266 to 116 of their annual assembly to make public the church’s stance that each affirms the fitting of Israel to offer safety to its borders and criticizes human rights offenses perpetrated towards Palestinians.
“In 2018, Israel handed a nation-state regulation, which declares the excellence between Jews and non-Jews basic and legit, and permits institutional discrimination in land administration and growth, housing, citizenship, language and tradition. The letter written on behalf of Presbyterian management said that the church stays “dedicated” to combating antisemitism, in addition to all types of violence and discrimination.
