VIENTIANE, July 20 — The Chinese language navy medical practice to take part within the “Peace Practice-2022” joint humanitarian medical rescue train in Laos left the Mohan Railway Station, an necessary border station on the China-Laos Railway in southwest China’s Yunnan province, on July 19 and arrived in Laos after passing via the Friendship Tunnel,the cross-border rail tunnel linking China and Laos. This marked the medical practice’s first cross-border journey for the reason that China-Laos Railway connecting Kunming in southwest China’s Yunnan province with the Laotian capital, Vientiane, started operations on December 3, 2021.
Representatives of the Ministry of Nationwide Defence of Laos and the Common Logistics Division of the Lao Folks’s Armed Forces (LPAF), the Chinese language navy medical consultants to help Laos and dealing employees of the Laos-China Railway Co., Ltd. (LCRC) attended the welcome ceremony on the Vientiane Railway Station.
It’s learnt that the Chinese language and Lao militaries will maintain “Peace Practice-2022” joint humanitarian medical rescue train and medical service actions in Laos in late July. The Chinese language navy despatched for the joint train a 149-member medical group, a medical practice, and varied vehicle-mounted medical devices and tools. After the joint train, the 2 militaries will maintain medical service actions in Vientiane.
