The US embassy in Myanmar has mentioned they had been conscious of the “wrongful” detention of an American citizen, simply days after president Joe Biden signed an govt order aimed toward such detention of US residents overseas.
“We’re conscious of the wrongful detention of a US citizen in Burma,” a spokesperson with the embassy instructed information company AFP.
