Responding to Kothari, Keren Hajioff, Lapid’s worldwide spokesperson, mentioned in a press release that “the worldwide group needs to be outraged by Miloon Kothari’s antisemitic feedback.”
Hajioff’s assertion additionally described the fee because the “epitome of ethical hypocrisy” and “makes a mockery of the UN Human Rights Council’s personal supposed requirements of independence and impartiality.”

In a letter to UN Human Rights Council President Nazhat Khan, Pillay mentioned that Kothari’s feedback “appear to have intentionally been taken out of context.”
