Pistol shooter Rahul Jakhar held his nerves to emerge victorious in a shoot-off as India opened their marketing campaign on the 2022 World Capturing Para Sport World Cup on a convincing observe by clinching three medals, in Changwon, South Korea, on Thursday.
Jakhar, who certified within the second spot with a rating of 574-14x, held off a decided Kim Jungam within the shoot-off (3+3+2: 3+3+0) to win the P3 – Combined 25m Pistol SH1 finals.
Trailing Jungam all through the ultimate, the 36-year-old Indian stored his calm to equal the scores 20-all within the final sequence of the elimination spherical.
