Solar Information Desk: Thirty-four fishermen went lacking as 11 trawlers with 150 fishermen capsized within the Bay of Bengal close to Kuakta of Patuakhali.

The incidents happened from midday to midnight on Friday (August 19), based on the Bangladesh Coast Guard.
Eleven trawlers together with MV Mamoni (3), FB Saiful, FB Al Mamun, FB Kulsun, FB Rafique Majhi, FB Nurbanu and FB Mayer Doa and one every from Bhola’s Charfassion, Galachipa, Panpotti, Kalapara and Napita space of Barguna district with 160 fishermen capsized within the Bay, some fishermen of the sunken trawlers, who managed to swim ashore, advised Coast Guard.

The lacking fishermen hail from Charfassion and Alipur Fisheries port space, advised president of Alipur-Kuakata Fish Wholesalers’ Affiliation.
In keeping with fisherman, 126 of them managed to swim ashore when the trawlers sank as a consequence of sturdy present.
