DUBAI, Aug 22 (Reuters) – Iran stated on Monday that talks with Saudi Arabia was a separate matter from talks to revive Tehran’s 2015 nuclear pact, including that cooperation between Tehran and Riyadh might assist restoration of calm and safety within the Center East.
Iran and Saudi Arabia, the main Shi’ite and Sunni Muslim powers within the Center East, severed ties in 2016, with each events backing allies combating proxy wars throughout the area, from Yemen to Syria and elsewhere.
The fifth spherical of talks between the regional rivals geared toward restoring relations between the regional rivals had been held in April.
