JEDDAH, 4th September, 2022 (WAM) — The Basic Secretariat of the Group of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the bloody explosion that rocked, on Friday, 2 September 2022, the Guzargah mosque within the metropolis of Herat in western Afghanistan.
The atrocious blast reportedly has left dozens of civilians useless and scores extra wounded within the assault.
The OIC vehemently deplores Friday’s blast, the newest in a current string of deadly bombings and suicide assaults.
Although the safety setting has admittedly improved over current months, the OIC Basic Secretariat identified, it stays gravely involved that sporadic assaults and explosions in varied provinces throughout the nation proceed to mar the safety and social peace of Afghan individuals.
The OIC renews its resolute solidarity with Afghanistan and its long-suffering individuals. It expresses its deepest condolences to the households of the victims, and its real needs to the injured for a full and speedy restoration.
