SEOUL, Sept. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — U.S. tech big Apple Inc. stated Wednesday it plans to open its fourth retail retailer in South Korea later this month, increasing its presence within the nation to compete with native rival Samsung Electronics Co.
Named “Apple Jamsil,” the shop will open at Lotte World Mall in Seoul’s southeastern neighborhood of Jamsil on Sept. 24, the corporate stated. Apple’s Korean web site opened a particular menu asserting the shop’s opening.
Apple opened its first South Korean retailer in Seoul’s posh southern district of Gangnam in January 2018, adopted by two extra Seoul shops in Yeouido and Myeongdong in February of 2021 and this previous April, respectively.
