Nepal loses to the Maldives in SABA Girls’s Championship

KATHMANDU: Nepal has been defeated by the Maldives within the South Asian Basketball Affiliation (SABA) Girls’s Basketball Championship.
Nepal confronted a 51-47 defeat by the hands of the hosts Maldives within the opening match of the Championship held in Male, the Maldives final night time.
Within the earlier version of the Championship, Nepal had trounced the Maldives 77-36.
Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives are participating within the Championship this time. Nepal will play its subsequent match in opposition to Sri Lanka on September 27.
Nepal will play in opposition to Bhutan within the final match of the Spherical Robin on September 28. Sadina Shrestha is the Nepali group captain whereas Bikas Shahi is the coach and Niranjan Satyal is the group supervisor.
