Traffic jams into Phnom Penh due to flooding and return from Pchum Ben

As tens of hundreds of households who left Phnom Penh to go to kin for the Pchum Ben pageant returned yesterday and at present, authorities have warned of visitors jams on method roads to the capital – exacerbated by latest flooding

Roads congested embody:

Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway is congested and closed at Sre Ambel and Treng Trayeung checkpoints because of lack of public order from 3 pm on September 26, 2022

Nationwide Highway No. 6 is congested from Prek Tamak Bridge to the junction to Lyong Phat Bridge (Prek Pnov Bridge) and continues to be congested till Phnom Penh,

Nationwide Highway No. 5 is congested from Prek Phnov visitors junction to beneath the Prek Phnov bridge and continues to be congested till Phnom Penh city,

Nationwide Highway No. 7 is congested on the mouth of Khmong, Tbong Khmum province till it reaches the territory of Kampong Cham province,

Nationwide Highway No. 6 is congested in Stong District, Kampong Thom Province (a mixture of floods because of flooding of nationwide roads),

Nationwide Highway No. 1 could be very congested round Neak Leung Bridge and proceed till Borey Peng Huoth, Boeung Sno, Phnom Penh.

Nationwide Highway No. 3 is congested round Tram Khnar Market to Phnom Penh,

Authorities have referred to as on drivers  to have the spirit of persistence, understanding and tolerance for one another, respect the visitors order and visitors guidelines to cut back congestion, regardless of the visitors on many roads.
