Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday introduced a discount within the value of petrol by Rs 12 per litre and excessive velocity diesel by Rs12.13.
The brand new costs will come into impact at midnight tonight, the newly appointed finance minister stated whereas addressing a press convention in Islamabad.
“The petrol value has been decreased to Rs 224.80 from Rs237.47 after a discount of Rs12.63. Equally, excessive velocity diesel value is being decreased by Rs12.13. It is going to be now be offered at Rs235.30 from present Rs247.38,” the minister advised a press convention.
The minister stated the choice to slash costs had been taken after a “detailed dialogue” with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
