Tartous, SANA- The Directorate of Agriculture in Tartous province estimated the province’s complete manufacturing of citrus timber for the present season at 190.086 tons.
The Head of Tartous Agriculture Directorate, Eng. Muhammad Hassan, mentioned in a press release to SANA at present: “the areas planted with citrus timber of every kind in Tartous for this season quantity to 9,335 hectares, and the full variety of timber is about 3,465,749 timber, together with 3,360,158 fruit timber, including that the weather conditions, together with excessive temperatures and storms, precipitated a decline in citrus manufacturing for this season.”
Tartous province produced about 214.709 tons of citrus fruits final season.
