As many as 10 fishermen escaped unharmed after their boat caught fireplace mid-sea close to APJ Abdul Kamal Island off the Odisha coast on Thursday. The fishing vessel had gone to the ocean when it caught fireplace close to Wheeler’s Island.
One other fishing vessel that was close by rescued the fishermen within the boat that caught fireplace.
The fishermen of Dosinga village in Dhamra space of Odisha’s Bhadrak district have been busy netting fish when the blaze unfold quickly, following which they knowledgeable the coast guard.
The coast guard and the marine police rushed to the spot and assisted within the rescue of 10 fishermen and introduced them again ashore safely.
Though the precise cause behind the fireplace is but to be ascertained, the flame reportedly emerged close to the engine, mentioned one of many rescued fishermen.
