Iraq’s Kurdistan Regional Authorities (KRG) has accomplished 50 % of a 145-kilometre highway community undertaking in Sulaymaniyah.
An official assertion issued by KRG stated it has allotted 400 billion Iraqi dinars ($274 million) for the three-phase highway undertaking, including that the primary section will prolong for 34 kilometres.
Mission supervisor Abu Bakr Tayeb stated the highway consists of 4 lanes and a complete width of 100 meters, and can embody 5 tunnels, seven intersections, and three overlapping bridges.
He stated the primary section will embody the development of 67 concrete ducts of 110 metres size and energy line community for highway lighting.
