On 11 October 2022, the Council of Europe’s Human Rights Training for Authorized Professionals (HELP) programme launched a specialised course on different measures to detention for a gaggle of probation officers in Yerevan, Armenia. The occasion was opened by the Deputy Minister of Justice Arpine Sargsyan, Deputy Head of the Council of Europe workplace in Yerevan Leila Zhdanova, Head of Part I, Cooperation in Police and Deprivation of Liberty Raluca Ivan and Head of Probation Service Gevorg Simonyan.
The HELP specialised course which was translated in Armenian and tailored to the native context presents the important thing phrases and rules associated to different measures to detention in addition to the European requirements. The nationwide HELP tutor introduced the course content material, construction, and helped the contributors to register within the course. Within the following month, 16 probationers will profit from this course and steerage of the nationwide tutor.
