Five-day anti-polio campaign to start today in Balochistan: Zahid

QUETTA    –   Coordinator of Emergency Operation Heart (EOC) Balochistan, Zahid Shah stated that the five-day anti-polio cam­paign would begin from Monday (Oc­tober-24) in 426 union councils of 19 districts of the province. He expressed these views in his assertion issued right here on Sunday stated that throughout the five-day anti-polio marketing campaign over 1.7 million youngsters as much as 5 years of age can be administered polio drops within the districts. “Round 6,820 groups can be assigned to manage po­lio drops to youngsters throughout the cam­paign”, he talked about. He additional stated that foolproof safety to be offered to all of the workers throughout the marketing campaign on which Balochistan Levies, Police and FC jawans can be deployed with the intention to management any untoward situa­tion throughout drive. Syed Zaid Shah stated no case of polio has been reported in Balochistan since January 2021, there was no polio virus within the setting of the province since April 2021, the presence of polio virus within the districts of different provinces of the nation and in Afghanistan was a problem for the Balochistan.
