SEOUL, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) — China and the Democratic Folks’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a wreath-laying ceremony on Tuesday on the Friendship Tower in Pyongyang to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of China’s sending the Chinese language Folks’s Volunteers (CPV) to the Battle to Resist U.S. Aggression and Support Korea.
Solar Hongliang, cost d’affaires advert interim of the Chinese language embassy in DPRK, and workers members of the Chinese language embassy attended the ceremony.
Kang Yun Sok, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme Folks’s Meeting (SPA), was amongst senior DPRK officers who attended the ceremony.
After solemnly performing nationwide anthems of China and DPRK, the wreaths, within the title of the Chinese language embassy and within the joint title of the Employees’ Social gathering of Korea Central Committee, the SPA Standing Committee of the DPRK and the cupboard of the DPRK have been positioned on the friendship tower, in tandem with echoing wreath-laying music.
The Friendship Tower was inbuilt 1959 in Pyongyang to commemorate the martyrs of the CPV.
