It happens when people are packed together in a confined space and movement causes the crowd to fall over.

A stampede implies that people had place to run, which was not the case in Itaewon.

Replace on Oct. 30, 1:30am (Singapore time): Officers have mentioned that there are 59 confirmed deaths and 150 accidents from the gang crush, in response to Korean information company Yonhap.

About 50 individuals are reported to have suffered cardiac arrest proper after a crowd crush in Itaewon, Seoul on Oct. 29.

In line with Yonhap Information, the fireplace division confirmed that massive crowds of individuals have been within the crowd crush at Halloween events.

The Korea Herald pinpointed the situation of the incident as close to the Hamilton Lodge, including that there have been an estimated 100,000 individuals within the space on the day.

The Nationwide Fireplace Company subsequently introduced that 21 individuals have been transferred to the hospital for cardiac arrest.

South Korean nationwide broadcaster KBS confirmed the loss of life of two individuals.

The overall estimated casualty stands at round 100.

“Dozens” unconscious

In line with The Korea Herald, rescue staff carried out CPR to dozens of unconscious individuals at about 11:30pm Korea time, or 10:30pm Singapore time.

Yonhap mentioned 142 firefighting autos have been mobilised for the realm.

They added that South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol will preside over an emergency assembly concerning the crowd crush.
